Do you want to see some beautiful vintage wedding dresses whilst sipping prosecco?

Of course you do!!!

Dirty Fabulous will be back at Trinity City Hotel for their bridal brunch on Sunday the 5th of March.
It's a wonderful afternoon of bubbles, nibbles and of course the very best of our vintage bridal and occasion wear set in this chic, city centre hotel.

Trinity City Hotel's bridal brunch will be hosted by the gorgeous Irene O'Brien. This is a lady who  knows a thing or two about vintage fashion and style in general! She'll be introducing our gorgeous vintage bridal fashions and generally being fabulous!

With Lovefool wedding photography, Cool & Co. stationary and the Darren Kennedy range of suits from Louis Copeland, you'll have all you need to plan an utterly stylish city wedding!

Below are some of the vintage looks from our fashion show at Trinity City's bridal brunch last year:

Places are limited so request your invite now from events@trinitycityhotel.com

It's Oscar Time!

The Academy Awards are the highlight of the award season and probably one of the biggest celebrity red carpet events.
For decades we've been intrigued by the glamour and glitter of Hollywoods celebrities as this is "THE" event where all the stops are pulled out!

In anticipation of Sunday nights 2017 red carpet I thought I'd show you some photos that we think would completely slay it, even today:

Who needs dresses slashed down to the navel and up to the high... I wanna see something old school!

1947 Christian Dior
1955 Pierre Balmain
1951 Christian Dior
1951 Pierre Balmain
Jane Wyman 1953

Hollywood actress, Loretta Young, knew a thing or two about adding red carper oomph!
She wore this green showstopper to the Oscars in 1948. Talk about making a statement!
The other photos below show Loretta Young in a series of incredible evening gowns that she wore on film.

If, shock horror, you find yourself invited to the Oscars with NOTHING to wear then here are some of our uber glamourous vintage looks from Dirty Fabulous!

Real Bride: L'Amour in a Town Hall

We practically swooned when Dirty Fabulous bride, Maëva sent us her photo.
She chose a beautiful, high neck vintage wedding gown and one of our pretty hairvines for her Irish/French wedding that took place in Brussels town hall.
Maëva and her new husband look totally romantic and dashing in equal measures.
I don't think she could have chosen a more perfect wedding dress for their special day!

Congratulations to you both!

The wonderful photography is by Alexis Pauwels

Pink and Red.... The colours you're missing out on!!!

Pink and red is one of our favourite colour combinations, but it's not one people often think to try.
Now's your chance! There's no better time to give it a whirl than during a romantic week in February!

If you don't believe how chic and femine these two colours can look, then take some inspiration from some of the original vintage and modern images we've chosen for you...

Isn't this the kind of outfit you'd like to wear when wakling the dog!!!

1960's pink and red air hostess uniforms...ultra short!!!

Adding a splash of red with the accessories in Vogue 1955

Another pretty 50's ensemble with bright gloves and necklace.

Now, how to turn these inspirations into reality:

We love how these modern looks have a nod towards the past.

Tea length skirt, statement blouse, cape and travel case. Super chic!

The hot pink sweater and tea length skirt has created a much bolder look. It's classic with a vibey edge.

If skirts aren't your thing then how about some 1940's style tailoring?
