Butterfly Beauty!

The gorgeous Carmen came to us with a very specific vision in mind for her bridal headpiece.
Her love of butterflies inspired her to incoorporate them into her piece. She also wanted the drama of a bird cage veil.
Working with Carmen's preferences, Caroline created a beautiful beaded comb with butterfly embellishment and a separate bird cage veil that Carmen could remove later in the day.
We just love Carmen's fun and super pretty look on her big day.
It was our pleasure to help her complete it!

Real Bride Lou and her (Dirty) Fabulous accessories!!!

It gives us the warm and fuzzies and feelings of pure joy when we know people like what we do.
Stunning bride Lou came to us with a few outfit desires.
After choosing an amazing 1950's orange chiffon dress for her engagement party, Lou returned to us for her bridal accessories for her destination wedding in Sicily.
Lou added some Dirty Fabulous glam to her gorgeous two piece gown by Anne O'Mahony.
She wore a crystal and pearl headpiece and lace trim veil for her ceremony and a vibrant floral comb for the evening, that Caroline had created especially for her.
To add even more vintage charm, Lou picked one of our stunning 1950's, lemon yellow lace, prom dresses for the welcome party in Sicily.
Thanks so much Lou for making us a part of your wedding! A true Dirty Fabulous dream!!!

Lou even wore two Dirty Fabulous vintage dresses for her engagement party and welcome party for her wedding!

Our Smitten Kitten and Cherry Pie, tea length, 1950's inspired, wedding dresses are featured in Honeymoons and Weddings Abroad; a new edition from the team at Confetti.

Real Bride: L'Amour in a Town Hall

We practically swooned when Dirty Fabulous bride, Maëva sent us her photo.
She chose a beautiful, high neck vintage wedding gown and one of our pretty hairvines for her Irish/French wedding that took place in Brussels town hall.
Maëva and her new husband look totally romantic and dashing in equal measures.
I don't think she could have chosen a more perfect wedding dress for their special day!

Congratulations to you both!

Real Bride: Straight out of a movie!

Real bride, Maria's wedding day photos made us swoon a little!
Her Dirty Fabulous ensemble included a bird cage veil, earrings, and tea length dress with lace copped bolero. Maria wore it with the panache of a classic movie star. There is a real timeless beauty to the photo that even Audrey Hepburn would have been proud of!

Congratulations to Maria and her new hubby!

A Wedding Dreams Are Made Of...

The title isn't something I say lightly, nor is it a throwaway comment based on some pretty pictures. Dirty Fabulous had the immense pleasure of attending Charlotte and Peter's wedding at L'Abbaye-Chateau de Camon in France and we can categorically say it was beyond wonderful!
Destination weddings can be exceedingly hard work to pull off; some guests mightn't be happy with the extra travel and expense but when they are done right boy are they worth it!

Charlotte and Peter chose L'Abbaye-Chateau de Camon as the location for their wedding after some extensive research. I couldn't imagine a more perfect setting. It was located near to Mirepoix, an easy area to get to after flying into Carcassone.

How dapper do the men in the bridal party look! They got their suits made by a tailor from Co. Monaghan.

Charlotte had some very specific wants for her wedding dress so Dirty Fabulous took it upon ourselves to find her the dress of her dreams.  We knew this champagne silk and lace gown had Charlottes name all over it and I think we can all agree she looked astounding! The epitome of 1930's old Hollywood glamour.

Myself and Caroline in our vintage dresses and big sunnies (ooh fabulous French weather!)

Charlotte's sister was her bridesmaid on the day she wore a stunning sage green silk 1950's dress from Dirty Fabulous. The subtle tones are so romantic and feminine.

Don't you just adore the photography! Martin from The Picture Rooms came to France to capture this magical event and the evidence is in the variety of beautiful pictures. I really wish my wedding photos were this good!

In the end we danced the night away and came back the next day for games on the lawn and brunch. We had the most magnificent time and we are so grateful that Dirty Fabulous was a part of Charlotte and Peter's enchanting wedding in France.

A Windswept, Horseriding Bride & A Barter Opportunity; Need I say more!

Major wedding envy alert!!! The scenery, the gorgeous couple, the horses...  This is an actual real wedding, not an editorial, I kid you not!
Andrea and Eoins big day is just so unbelievably stunning that it knocks the socks of all those Pinterest inspiration boards we drool over. Best of all, the bride in question wore a Dirty Fabulous, vintage wedding dress.
Irish beauty, Andrea came to us in search for a gown for her Canadian, destination wedding with the precursory request that she'd need to be able to ride a horse in it. We were happy to oblige and helped Andrea choose a 1950's gown with daisy detailing that we knew would stand up to some strenuous action.

The whole day was shot by amazing photographers Jelger and Tanja. The duo are originally from Belgium but based in Vancouver, Canada.
But what's the barter opportunity mentioned in the title? Well now, Jelger and Tanja are hoping to come to Ireland in April and May and will shoot a whole wedding in exchange for flights from Canada and two nights accommodation.
The wedding can happen any time between April 16th and May 1st. Although they aren't free on the 23rd.

This could be an incredible opportunity for a couple who haven't been able to secure a photographer for their big day or who've had a last minute cancellation.
It could also work out to be a slightly cheaper option and if there's anything we've learned from Pinterest and bridal blogs like One Fab Day, scrimping on wedding photography is a no no!!! Make cuts to anywhere except your photography or videography people!

Jelger and Tania have even aired their barter proposition on radio with Ray Darcy. Hopefully they'll get to visit Ireland! If you want to ask this photography duo a bit more about the barter get in contact with them through their site.

Back to the happy couple!
Congratulations to Andrea and Eoin and thank you for sharing your fabulous wedding with us.

To see the incredible short film of their big day take a peak at the magnificent work done by Story of Eve. Goosebumps are guaranteed!!!
