SWOOOON!!!!!!These photos!!!

For her big day, pastel haired beauty, Kelly, chose one of our own designs: The Cat's Meow from our Papermoon Bridal collection. She totally rocked her unique look which had a modern twist on 1930's Old Hollywood glamour.
There's nothing we love more than seeing a bride staying true to her individual style for her wedding day and we're so proud that one of our Papermoon dresses was perfect for Kelly!
Thank you so much to Kelly for sending in her stunning pics by photographer Paula Gillespie.

 Papermoon Bridal by Dirty Fabulous

The Sweetie Darling
For all the sultry sirens channelling their inner startlet.  This 1930's style gown is begging to be sashayed in.  The rose gold beaded collar adds a luxe touch to a dress that is all about hugging the curves.

 The Cherry Pie
A cupcake of a cutie! Taking it's inspiration from one of the very first 1950's prom dresses we had in store, which became one of their most asked after dresses. The blush colour and soft tulle pleating bring the bridal style stakes to a whole new level!
The incredible cake in the image was created by Cathy's Bakes and Cakes

 The Dollface
We've taken the very best features of some of our most stunning 1950's tea length dresses and combined them to create a timeless and classic dress that's sure to delight. It even has pockets!

The Cat's Meow
A champagne beauty the most wonderful aspects of the coveted gowns worn by old Hollywood movie stars. The low back, looped rhinestone encrusted shoulder straps and draped bias cut skirt make this a show-stopper!

 The Holly Go Lightly
One of our most popular designs! The full lace skirt is reminiscent of the fabulous, fun dresses worn by Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly. We've added a removable tulle shawl collar to create the perfect neckline.

 The Smitten Kitten
A ballet length tulle 1950's style bridal prom which has been decorated by shimmering sequins on a classic illusion top neckline. For the fun bride who wants to sparkle and dance the night away.

 The Society Dame
The regal lady of the collection. This lace, form fitting wedding gown has a frothy, detachable tulle train that is begging to descend a grand staircase! The tulle collar can also be removed taking it from a show-stopping number to a sleek lace silhouette in moments.

The Tallulah
Well hello there! A wedding dress inspired by it's namesake. Where do we start with this dress?  The jewel-detail open backThe crystal buttoned deep cuffs on an open slash sleeve? The fabulous V neckline? This is the wedding dress vintage dreams are made of!

A dress to say 'yes' to - whether you are a vintage or modern bride

Be it a Christmas engagement or proposal at midnight on New Year's Eve, January traditionally throws up lots of wedding talk. Our fashion editor spoke to a dynamic pair of sisters who want to open up the world of vintage to modern brides

Our shoot is the epitome of romance and shouts Monaghan pride as sisters Caroline Quinn and Kathy Sherry, of Dirty Fabulous fame, showcase their unique collection of bridal gowns.
Now based in Dublin, the sisters' store on Wicklow Street has been a haven of all things vintage, since they opened eight years ago. That was a brave move, coming as it did as the recession hit, but they stayed true to their dream and traveled the world in their quest to find genuine vintage pieces.
In a new move, they have combined their years of experience in vintage fashion to create a beautiful capsule collection of wedding dresses called Paper Moon Bride. Their latest business development came about by accident after one of their customers bought a blush prom dress and wore it as a wedding gown. The reaction was immediate and the girls found themselves inundated with requests to find other 1940s and 1950s bridal dresses from yesteryear, but assets were scarce. Caroline explains how genuine cream and white dresses from that period tend to be too small across the back for the modern bride because the garments were originally made for teenagers. In the 1950s, brides got married in delicate shades of blue and pink and it was teenage debutantes who wore the pale ivory tones.
"We designed the collection to open up the world of vintage to more customers," says Kathy. "A vintage wedding dress is completely unique, which makes it ultra special for the bride who snaps it up, but we wanted to create dresses for those that had missed out. The most beloved styles of our brides are the tea-length 1950s and 1930s old Hollywood gowns, so we decided to design four short and four full-length dresses. It's still a limited-edition collection because the uniqueness of vintage is our first love and we want to stay as true to this as possible."

The first dress to be designed was Cherry Pie, which was based on the first 1950s blush prom they sold. Taking that concept, they have designed the other seven dresses based on original ones they've bought, and sold, over the years. The dresses were inspired by names the sisters came across when they researched vintage slang and gangster speak. The dresses are available in sizes 8-26 and you can view a behind-the-scenes video of their shoot made by filmmaker Ronan McMeelin on vimeo.com/190539021.
When it comes to saying 'I do', Kathy, who was married before the sisters opened their store, says: "The 1950s prom styles have always been my favourites so I'd have to pick one of the shorter dresses. The Holly Go Lightly has an amazing neckline and fun, full skirt." For her wedding, Caroline wore a 1940s white dress with shoulder pads and a V-neck. Happily married Caroline says: "If I was doing it again, I would definitely wear the Tallulah."
