Red and Pink - Switch It Up You Big Romantic and Wear These Colours Together!

We'll be colour blocking our way into this week! Whether you celebrate Valentines or ignore completely, there's nothing wrong with taking a little timeout to show your love and maybe spend some quality time with your nearest and dearest.
Personally I'll do something nice with my kids on Valentines and hopefully squeeze in a date-night with the hubby at some stage during the next week or two. It won't be much different to any other week but love is important, essential in fact, so why not spend a little time being grateful for the family, friends and partners that are part of your life.
Just for the heck of it I'll be wearing lots of pink and red!
Below are some original vintage images and then vintage dresses from Dirty Fabulous in an array of fabulous pink and red tones to inspire!
Have a wonderful week and remember "you are loved!".

Pink and Red.... The colours you're missing out on!!!

Pink and red is one of our favourite colour combinations, but it's not one people often think to try.
Now's your chance! There's no better time to give it a whirl than during a romantic week in February!

If you don't believe how chic and femine these two colours can look, then take some inspiration from some of the original vintage and modern images we've chosen for you...

Isn't this the kind of outfit you'd like to wear when wakling the dog!!!

Now, how to turn these inspirations into reality:

We love how these modern looks have a nod towards the past.

Tea length skirt, statement blouse, cape and travel case. Super chic!

The hot pink sweater and tea length skirt has created a much bolder look. It's classic with a vibey edge.

If skirts aren't your thing then how about some 1940's style tailoring?
