A Little Bit of Sparkle!

The lovely Pauline came to us in search of a headpiece that would compliment her 1950's style, lace, wedding dress. We created a birdcage veil with a small crystal and pearl beaded embellishment. It was dainty and pretty and complimented Pauline's dress perfectly! 

Goddess Gorgeousness!

When Kristina sent us in her gorgeous photos from her recent wedding we were delighted, they are so beautiful!

She picked one of our original 1970's goddess gowns. This, one of a kind dress, looked like it was made for her, it just seemed perfect the second she put it on! I also made her a beaded and jeweled headpiece to finish off the glamorous ensemble. The cream and golden tones of the piece were stunning with her luscious auburn curls. Kristina is planning to keep her beautiful vintage gown and give it to her daughter, which is just so cute! 

We're always encouraging people to treasuring their amazing vintage pieces for future generations! You are now in possession of a little piece of fashion history, don't you know!

Dirty Fabulous Headpiece winner - One Fab Day competition

Back in January we had a competition on One Fab Day to win a fabulous bespoke headpiece -

The winner was the gorgeous Louise Benson........

Louise's Grandmother made her wedding dress for her using this lace and Louise asked me to make a headpiece that incorporated the lace.

Louise showed me photographs of her planned hairstyle and the position she would like to wear her bespoke Dirty Fabulous headpiece.

So off I set to work!

And this is the result!

Louise looked absolutely stunning on her big day and her dress is a credit to her grandmother.

A Dazzling Bride!

How incredible does Edel look in her Dirty Fabulous fully beaded, cream 1950's wiggle dress. 

The bead-work on this dress was to die for, it was so intricate and must have taken forever to complete!

The great thing about this dress is that it can be worn again and again for other special occasions.

Edel topped off her look with one of our bespoke headpieces.

 It was de rigueur in by-gone days to complete your look with a marvelous headpiece. It's one of the things that I love most about vintage fashion; the meticulous thought that went into each outfit.

Depending on the occasion headpieces and hats could be elaborate creations or subtle works of art. Nowadays many brides are choosing fabulous headgear to compliment their wedding dresses and you simply cannot go to the races without an awesome hat. But headpieces should not be limited to just these occasions, they can be for the everyday and the special events.
