Quite Possibly The Most Romantic Wedding Ever!

When vintage darling and the deputy editor of the bridal bible, One Fab Day plans her wedding, you know the results will be a visual dream!!!

We were absolutely thrilled when Karen Louise chose her 1950's style, tulle and lace wedding dress from Dirty Fabulous. She paired it with one of our satin edge tulle veils and I think we can all agree she was a picture of vintage perfection!

One Fab Day featured the wedding in full in two parts and you really have to check out part 1 and part 2 to see all of the beautiful details of this charming wedding.

The photography by We Are The Lous is so special, I promise it'll make you swoon!

Congratulations to Karen Louise and her hubby Michael.

Real Wedding: Marina, Unique in Antique!

Edwardian wedding dresses are beautiful and quite rare but they are downright perfect for an alternative bride.
Gorgeous Dirty Fabulous bride, Marina, chose such a dress for her recent wedding to Frank that took place in Smock Alley.
The wonderful pictures by Ivana Patarcic capture the relaxed vibe of the day, one that was filled with love and laughter.
Both the bride and groom look pretty amazing and completely unique I might add! I loved how Marina paired her vintage dress with some cool Kate Spade brogues and that fabulous floral crown. We totally love her style!

Nothing makes us happier than when one of our brides features on One Fab Day so pop on over there for even more details of this special wedding!

A Charming Bridal Inspiration Shoot!

This beautiful wedding inspiration shoot was featured recently on One Fab Day so head over to their amazing site for the full shoot by photographer Katya Koliban.
Rosedale House was the ideal setting for this romantic and feminine shoot (can I please go there just to soak up the darling atmosphere!).
The brides vintage lace dress, veil and cream floral headpiece were chosen from Dirty Fabulous to compliment the dreamy setting.
To showcase the headpieces and reflect the vintage charm of the shoot the wonderful Claire Barry kept the hair loose and gentle.
And my word the flowers and cakes... STUNNING!

Blush and Berry -An Inspirational Shoot

The soft pastel tones in this inspirational bridal shoot have been paired with vivid berry shades that elevate the overall look to spectacular!
The amazing Wim, from In Love Photography has captured all the glorious details in vintage hues and a romance that just draws you in.
Fleur Weddings styled the shoot and provided the floral arrangements and I think we can all agree they totally knocked it out of the park. I want them to style every party I ever have (one can only dream)!
Our 1950's blush prom dress looks so adorable in this shoot and we're over the moon to have been involved.
To see more of these beautiful images head on over to One Fab Day who showcased the entire inspirational shoot... Enjoy!

Coloured Wedding Dresses - The Bright New Trend!

I have to admit, this is one bridal trend that has me really excited!
When I see someone doing something different at a wedding I can usually be heard letting out an audible squeal of delight. There's nothing worse when every wedding begins to blend into the next, serial wedding attendees will have felt this the most!

Even though our nearest and dearest are in attendance, we're all loved-up to the eyeballs and the fun just doesn't stop, when you look back at a wedding and try to pick out some defining features it's often hard to distinguish one wedding from another...
That is unless the bride and groom completely dance to their own tune and break all (or some) of the wedding day rules!!!

One guaranteed way to do this is to wear something unexpected, interesting or even daring! If I was to get married again, this is one trend I'd be following. Luckily vintage gowns come in array of beautiful colours so my only conundrum would be what shade to wear???
They all look FABULOUS!!!
