The Blushing Bride!

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our vintage dresses being worn by our brides. Our dresses are like our babies and we like to see how they shine when they leave our store.
Katie's bridal look made us beam like proud parents!!!

She chose a 1950's blush, tea length gown with lace detailing and a bespoke comb with birdcage veil. She looked absolutely incredible, don't you think! The blush colour was wonderful with her complexion and hair colour. The pictures are just soooooooo Pretty!

Congratulations to Katie and her new hubby.

Bird Cage Veil perfection for a flame haired Retro Bride!

Oooh how gorgeous are these images from Cheryl's wedding in The Millhouse .
They were taken by Tim from This Modern Love and I think they capture what must have been a fabulous day beautifully!
Cheryl wore one of our birdcage veils to compliment her retro look.
It's absolute perfection with her red hair and victory rolls.
Love it!

A 1930's Bride!

Sarah chose an absolutely stunning liquid silk 1930's bias cut dress for her wedding.
This was a luscious, form fitting wedding gown which Sarah wore to perfection. As many of the 1930's wedding dresses have high sash necks, Sarah had her dress altered to give a flattering v-neck.
I hope you agree the whole look was amazing!
We wish you both a fabulous marriage!!!

1940's New York Bride

The lovely Dervla sent us her pictures of her New York wedding last year.
Dervla chose a beautifully chic 1940's rayon dress with lace trim peplum for her intimate wedding in Central Park.
Both Dervla and the dress looked stunning all set in our favourite city!
