Real Bride: Feathers and Flourishes!

Ooh there's nothing that makes us happier than seeing one of our real brides on their wedding day!
Sinead chose a stunning slipper satin gown with form fitting silhouette that had a floaty chiffon outer layer.
The beautiful bride made sure she could change her look on her wedding day with a couple of different cover-up's that suited her Dirty Fabulous vintage wedding dress perfectly.
For a touch of warmth Sinead had one of our super glamourous feather capes. It's such a stunning piece that hopefully she'll get lots of wear from!
A button back, lace bolero then added an elegant finishing touch.

Congratulations to Sinead and her hubby on their wedding! Thank you so much for sending us in your photos.

If you'd like to share your Dirty Fabulous Vintage photos send them to hello@dirtyfabulous.com, we can't wait to see them!

Vintage Winter Wedding Inspiration!

It's possible by now that you're beginning to plan your Winter wedding for next year. There's a lot to think about between now and then but we all know one of the most important aspects for any bride is what she's going to wear. For Winter brides this can be even trickier as many slinky, low cut dresses and flimsy fabrics available to brides just don't say "Winter wedding".

A vintage wedding dress could offer you everything you've been searching for.
They are often made of heavier, sumptuous fabrics like lace, brocade and rayon. Add to this details such as high, illusion top necklines and long sleeves allowing elegant coverage for those cold Winter Months.

Even if you have a modern wedding dress you can add a touch of vintage glamour and vital warmth with a 1940's stole or 1950's beaded cardigan. The right accessories will enhance your beautiful dress to Winter princess heights!

Take some inspiration from these original vintage photographs followed by a some of our own Dirty Fabulous Winter worthy dresses....

Something Blue!

Joanne had something very specific in mind before she came to visit us. She was pretty sure she wanted a blue feather cape to wear over her wedding dress and we made sure we had some options in stock before her appointment. We're always delighted to be able to help a bride source an elusive piece!
The blue feather cape looked beautiful against Joanne's vibrant flowers. Her whole bridal look was fresh, unique and fabulous... what more could you want!
