An Afternoon of Vintage Fashion in House, Leeson Street... ooh!

There's no doubt about it, if you take yourself out to any of the events in the Dublin Burlesque Festival this year then you're in for a treat.

For their night time events you can be guaranteed a raucous, surprising, sassy, hilarious and fabulous evening. 

But the Dublin Burlesque Festival likes to take things down a notch on Sunday Afternoon with their annual Afternoon Tea and Vintage Fashion Show.

While away a few decadent hours in glamour, perusing vintage fashion from the 1930's to 1950's. 

Dirty Fabulous will be one of the boutiques pulling out all the stops to excite and exhilarate the audience!

The afternoon tea will be held in a personal favourite haunt:

House on Leeson Street.

Sit back, relax and listen to the dulcet tones of Miss Truly Divine as the lovely models in with their vintage hair and make-up pass you by.

Can you think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? We can't! See you there and don't forget to immerse yourself in the whole event and wear your vintage glad-rags!

Doors open at 1pm and the show starts at 2pm.

Tickets are limited so make it snappy and grab your tickets .   They include the fashion show and a scrumptious afternoon tea.

Tea Fest - Kat's annual vintage tea party!

Ooooh here's something for your vintage diary!

The lovely Kat, who we've had the pleasure of working with at the Dublin Burlesque Festivals fashion shows is throwing her 4th annual vintage tea party on Sunday, September 1st.

It all begins with tasty treats galore at 4pm in The Grand Social all to the sounds of swing, jazz, blues and tango.

There'll be a free taster swing dance class at 4pm too which should work up an appetite for all those cakes!

Cabaret acts will begin to entertain the guests from 6pm featuring,

 dancers: Azaria Starfire and Lady Veneray, 

comedians: Andrea Farrell and Johnny Murphy , and

Charleston dance troupe the Belle Hoppers and burlesque performer Lou Leigh Blue.

As if this wasn't enough there will be vintage hair makeovers from Maureen Smith of Locks and Lashes

 (another friend of Dirty Fabulous!), a vintage photo booth and market stalls.

Would you believe that all this costs only €10! A bargain I think you'll agree!!!

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their vintage finery (who doesn't love an excuse to dress up?)

The motto of the afternoon is: 

 Dress up, drink tea, eat cake, dance and mingle!

The Tassel Club & Cirque du Cabaret

Prepare yourselves for a fabulous night ladies and gentlemen, The Tassel Club is hosting an amazing burlesque night on Saturday the 6th of June in Vicar Street!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tassel Club and all things burlesque. For anyone unfamiliar with these nights they involve getting dressed up in your best vintage frock (or something more seductive!), watching the best cabaret and burlesque performers and immersing yourself amongst glamour and oodles of fun!!!

Tickets are only €35, so worth it for a night of high quality, exciting acts!

Miss Annette Bettie

As an extra special bonus the Tassel Club will host a launch party for their June Cirque du Cabaret show in the Odessa Club.
It’s an invite only night with complimentary cocktail and a Burlesque Review starring Miss Annette Bettie.

Annette will host a burlesque class in a city centre location (D2) on Friday night, prior to the event in Odessa Club.

Believe me you have to do a burlesque class at least once in your life! We've taken part ourselves before here at Dirty Fabulous and it an amazing, ultimate girlie night out!

The class will cost €35 for a two hour burlesque tutorial and this includes an invitation into the Odessa Club immediately after plus one guest, woohoo!

Dirty Fabulous at Cirque Du Cabaret

Here are just a few images of taken on Saturday nights Cirque Du Cabaret hosted by Sara and the Tassel Club.

We'd highly recommend burlesque nights, especially Cirque Du Cabaret at the Button Factory! It's great fun, everyone is always so glam and we especially love the vintage theme. The acts are always a mix of saucy and hilarity!

We'll definitely be going to the Christmas one, see you there!
