Season's Greetings

Hello, hello, hello lovely ladies! 

Thought we'd touch base just before the brand New Year begins. 

We hope you're all having a glamorous Festive Season whatever you may be doing, shall we take a moment to pay homage to the awesomeness that was the Downton Abbey Christmas Special!?? Forget, for a mere moment, the amazing costumes (more on that in January's posts!) and let us cut straight to Mathew and Lady Mary in the swirly-whirly magical snow...swooon! Oh it was just too good...

Anyway, whether you're decking the halls for one last party or ringing in the New Year by the fire with a glass of wine and donning cosy, but oh-so-fabulous pj's, here's to it being a wonderful evening!

Dear Santa...Part Three!

Ooooo Christmas is nearly upon us! If like me you're super disorganized this festive season then take a peek at these accessories for some last minute shopping inspiration. Don't be disappointed on Christmas morning, because really a hoover just won't cut it, not even a sparkley super-duper one that works all by itself.

White Christmas!

Have you given up hope on a white Christmas? Now I know it was chaotic for the last few years but I do miss the fluffy white goodness that is a brand new blanket of snow. Anyhoo, we got our fill last week when we went to the awesome "White Christmas The Musical" in the Grand Canal Theatre. It was a very glam night, full of fun, frolics, festivity and fashion! We were loving the vintage outfits and vowed to recreate a few of the looks. The cherry on our Sundae? It snowed inside for the finale while we all crooned along to White Christmas!!! 

Well done to all the cast and crew for such a 

super super production.

Festive Christmas Jumpers Dirty Fabulous Stylee!

Oh now I do love a bit of festive fashion at this time of year. It's a great chance to indulge your twee side and spread a little Christmas cheer. Last weekend saw Dublin host a major 

Christmas jumper event, Geansai Nollaig, 

with a whopping 583 people setting a new world record for the most people wearing Christmas jumpers in the one place! Geansai Nollaig raised over €5,000 for Barretstown which is such a worthy cause, a huge well done to all involved.

So, with this in mind, I delved into the treasure chest that is Dirty Fabulous and pulled out some super cute  cardies to keep you fashionably festive over the Christmas period!

Christmas Holidays

Dirty Fabulous will be closing on Wednesday the 21st of December at 3pm for our long winter's nap, well there may be a spot of merriment along the way! We will be back in full vintage mode on Tuesday the 3rd of January. Just a little note, our Saturday's in January are beginning to fill up so do give us a call if you think you may like some vintage shopping to beat the post Christmas blues!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year...

Yay! Yippee and a festive Wuhoo! It's officially Christmas which means that us Dirty Fabulous ladies no longer have to hide our love of all the things Christmasy. We've got our tree up, Dean and Perry are crooning from the iPod and our outfits are working up to full-on Geansai Nollaig  chic. Kathy and Baby Ruben joined us for the merriment, and it was Eggnog Latte's all round. Yum yum!

Deck The Halls!

It's finally time to make Dirty Fabulous fabulously festive! 

With the lights on Grafton Street being turned on this Saturday, along with the unveiling of the Brown Thomas Christmas window (eeeeekk!!), we decided to deck the Dirty Fabulous halls and get 

our Christmas groove on!

Soooooo, tomorrow Kathy & Baby Ruben are joining Caroline and I to sing along to 

Bing & Perry and spread some Christmas cheer.
