Fashion Bloggers Brunching in Harvey Nichols

Sunday the 16th saw the one year anniversary of the Fashion Bloggers Brunch which was celebrated in style courtesy of Harvey Nichols First Floor Restaurant and the organisation skills of Annmarie O Connor.
The food was devine, the company excellent and the goodie bags...lust worthy!!!
We started of the brunch with Bellini's, a perfect way to kick off any day. Next followed granola and berries with a touch of mint.
After this was the most gorgeous assiette plate of tasty brunchy morsels (see the drool worthy pic above). If these dishes weren't enough there was skewered beef with truffle mash, sumptuous desserts and one of the best coffee's I've ever had (tasted like chocolate), all washed down with a glass or two of wine!
It was my first time in Harvey Nichols restaurant and I loved it, the service was impeccable(a big thank you to Michael), the food delish and we were lulled into a post food serenity with live soothy jazz tunes.
The conversation meandered through topics such as Charlie Sheens dubious good looks, the upcoming launch of Aisling McDermotts' new book the beaut.ie Guide to Gorgeous and the pros and cons of false eyelashes brought on by the addition of such beauties in our goody bags!
Lastly we dived into the treasure trove of said bags and found them brimming with much needed essentials. It was like Harvey Nichols had read my mind (and my shopping list!).
There was the blusher I desperately needed, a bag full of sun care products from Liz Earle (perfect travel size for Tuscany), James Brown heat protection spray for my blown to death fringey locks, disco eyelashes (Tuscany again!) and Collagen Marshmallows (although not on my list, I was just as happy to have them).
After all this we left on a high, swinging our Harvey Nichols shopping bags and went to straight to Penny's to stock up on tights...

Irish Examiner Saturday July 4th 09

Some of Dirty Fabulous's vintage bridal pieces were featured in the Irish Examiner Weekend magazine on Saturday July 4th in a piece about Budget Brides written by the fabulous Annmarie O'Connor.
It's important for the bride to get the right look for her on her big day and work with a realistic budget. Vintage is such a pocket friendly option and you are guaranteed a one of a kind gown! We always recommend that the Bride To Be look around lots of boutiques and try on all styles, oh and take pictures (not allowed in a lot of places but welcomed here in Dirty Fabulous!)
Decisions, decisions, decisions....
