Arthur Cox Irish Couture Fashion Evening 2012

The Dirty Fabulous ensemble were lucky enough to be invited to last weeks Arthur Cox Irish Couture Fashion Evening. This beautiful fashion event was held in association with the Irish International Business Network and took place in the decadent setting of The Westin Hotel ballroom.

First on show were Couturiers Tyrrell & Brennan.
This was one of our favourite collections as it had definite echoes of 1950's silhouettes. The tailoring was impeccable and the fabrics sumptuous. We collectively drooled over an embellished black lace!

Joanne Hynes had a striking collection that was not for the faint hearted! Metallic's were the name of the game and heavily embellished neck pieces adorned every outfit.

Mark T Burke displayed absolutely stunning head pieces that were truly works of art. We wanted every single one of them!

Another gorgeous collection included hats by Milliner Polly McGettigan and outfits by designer Jen Kelly.
Also on show during the evening was knitwear designer Caroline Mitchell

After the show all of the well oiled attendees were treated to a Pop-up Show featuring the designers.
I had to try on everyone of Joanne Hynes huge embellished collars and made a mental note to beg Santa for one. I am so a fan of the bling!!!

Caroline loved this slightly more understated gold and turquoise piece.
