Blush and Berry -An Inspirational Shoot

The soft pastel tones in this inspirational bridal shoot have been paired with vivid berry shades that elevate the overall look to spectacular!
The amazing Wim, from In Love Photography has captured all the glorious details in vintage hues and a romance that just draws you in.
Fleur Weddings styled the shoot and provided the floral arrangements and I think we can all agree they totally knocked it out of the park. I want them to style every party I ever have (one can only dream)!
Our 1950's blush prom dress looks so adorable in this shoot and we're over the moon to have been involved.
To see more of these beautiful images head on over to One Fab Day who showcased the entire inspirational shoot... Enjoy!

Old World Romance!

Bride-to-be, Angelika had a beautiful lace wedding dress when she came to Dirty Fabulous in search of the perfect headpiece to compliment her bridal look.
The crystal swirl feather headband and birdcage veil she chose were perfect and added a touch of old world glamour to the big day.
Rory O'Toole photography captured the wedding day beautifully and we love the shots of Angelika getting ready for the main event!

We've said it before and we'll say it again; wedding photography is so important; who else will capture all the little details whilst the couple and guests get down to the equally important job of enjoying such a romantic day.

Congratulations to Angelika and her new hubby and a big thank you to Rory O'Toole photography for sharing these gorgeous images!

Frequently Asked Questions!

How long do appointments last?
Appointments last 1 hour but if you feel you need a longer or shorter time then this can be requested. We ask that you please arrive on time for your appointments for if you arrive early or late it will either eat into someone elses appointment or your own.

Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, we are limited with space so it would be amazing if you could bring no more than 4 people with you

Can you hold items that I'm interested in?
We are happy to hold one item for a day or two whilst you have a think about it

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept credit cards.

Do you take deposits?
Yes we can take a 50% deposit on the total purchase. Items must be paid off within 3 months. If you require different payment terms there's no harm in asking!

What is the lead time on your order in bridal dresses?
We have a short lead time on most of our reproduction dresses. They can be available from 2-18 weeks depending on the dress in question.

Is Dirty Fabulous pram/wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, no.We are located on the first floor of a Victorian building which doesn't have a lift.
There are stairs in the building. If you have a pram it can be left in the hall downstairs. It is a secure building but any prams or bikes left in the hall are at the owners risk.

Do you sell online?
At present we don't have a shopping cart facility but if you see something you like the look of on our website or social media we are happy to send you more photos and details. We can take payment for any items plus shipping by card on the phone.

We are happy to ship worldwide for an additional cost which we can check prior to any purchase.

We receive new stock on a weekly to monthly basis. These items maybe vintage, bridal or accessories or a mix of everything. To check our new arrivals follow us on any of our social media outlets or sign up to our mailing list.

Do you cater for larger/plus sizes?
We do our very best to cater for a wide range of sizes. Vintage dresses are more commonly found in sizes UK 6 to UK 12 but our collection will often have UK 16 dresses and several UK 18 sizes in both our vintage and bridal collections.
Our reproduction BRIDAL dresses are available in many different sizes depending on the style. Our own Dirty Fabulous designed bridal collection will be available in plus sizes up to a UK plus 30

Do I need an appointment just to browse?
Yes, we work by appointment all the time so we would need to book you in. We are happy for you to make an appointment just to browse without any pressure or commitments.

Do you buy items in from individuals?
No, we never take our stock in this way and we recommend you either bring them to a consignment store or sell them online. We source all of our own stock and work with the best American dealers.

Do you stock second-hand modern items?
No, our vintage pieces hail from the 1920's to 1980's.

Do you take donations?
It is not part of our business but if you want to send us pictures of your items we can assess it on an individual basis.

Do you stock bridesmaids dresses?
We have a fabulous range of both long and short occasion dresses but as these are all original pieces, they are completely unique and no two dresses will be alike.
If you need multiple dresses for your bridesmaids and you want them to wear vintage then the dresses would compliment each other but they wouldn't be exact matches.

Can your vintage dresses be ordered in different sizes or colours?
No, our vintage dresses are original pieces from the 1920's to 1960's. There will only ever be one available and we can't source another.
Our reproduction wedding dresses are new and they can be ordered in different sizes.

Shades of Blue!

Angelia was a bride who knew exactly what she wanted for her big day. She had a definite style in mind and had a really fun idea to incorporate her trademark sunglasses into her look.  We love a challenge and were delighted to have been able assist!
We helped Angelia pick out a gorgeous tea length vintage style wedding dress with tulle bolero. It suited her personality to a tee!
Then we set about vamping up her favourite sunnies. Drama was key, so we added pearl beading, vintage rhinestones and ostrich feathers. I think we can all agree Angelia totally rocked her look!
Congratulations to her and her new hubby!

A Windswept, Horseriding Bride & A Barter Opportunity; Need I say more!

Major wedding envy alert!!! The scenery, the gorgeous couple, the horses...  This is an actual real wedding, not an editorial, I kid you not!
Andrea and Eoins big day is just so unbelievably stunning that it knocks the socks of all those Pinterest inspiration boards we drool over. Best of all, the bride in question wore a Dirty Fabulous, vintage wedding dress.
Irish beauty, Andrea came to us in search for a gown for her Canadian, destination wedding with the precursory request that she'd need to be able to ride a horse in it. We were happy to oblige and helped Andrea choose a 1950's gown with daisy detailing that we knew would stand up to some strenuous action.

The whole day was shot by amazing photographers Jelger and Tanja. The duo are originally from Belgium but based in Vancouver, Canada.
But what's the barter opportunity mentioned in the title? Well now, Jelger and Tanja are hoping to come to Ireland in April and May and will shoot a whole wedding in exchange for flights from Canada and two nights accommodation.
The wedding can happen any time between April 16th and May 1st. Although they aren't free on the 23rd.

This could be an incredible opportunity for a couple who haven't been able to secure a photographer for their big day or who've had a last minute cancellation.
It could also work out to be a slightly cheaper option and if there's anything we've learned from Pinterest and bridal blogs like One Fab Day, scrimping on wedding photography is a no no!!! Make cuts to anywhere except your photography or videography people!

Jelger and Tania have even aired their barter proposition on radio with Ray Darcy. Hopefully they'll get to visit Ireland! If you want to ask this photography duo a bit more about the barter get in contact with them through their site.

Back to the happy couple!
Congratulations to Andrea and Eoin and thank you for sharing your fabulous wedding with us.

To see the incredible short film of their big day take a peak at the magnificent work done by Story of Eve. Goosebumps are guaranteed!!!
